Hello all of you out there. Day two of Ramadan is over here in the UAE. My day was good, even thought the weather was hot, I did not feel the need for water or food. I was good otherwise. The only problem I had was craving for smokes, well in a way its good I smoke less in Ramadan. Both my businesses are directly effected by Ramadan so work was slow in the morning as it will be for the whole month. I went to work for just a short while. My other work runs from Iftaar to Seher in the month of Ramadan, even though I do not need to be there that much I was there for iftaar today. All over the UAE you can see shops and shopping centers decorated for ramadan, you can hear the occasional fireworks being set off, streets lighted and carnivals/festivals in several places.

D Reb the pictures are great! Makes one feel like one has been part of your day as well.
Yummy pakoras!
Why can't they give the whole banana? Why do they have to slice it?
@ S.Shaira, thanks.
@ Clayfuture, Only one thing I can think of Economics, I'll have to check if there is anything else.
well when you get a sliced banana, it is easier to eat...
lol that was all I could think of, besides the financial aspect Clay.
SS. Thing is the banana is sliced with the peel on it and I myself, find it harder to eat then a whole banana. From my take on this people want less quantity and more variety, thats why small cut pieces of banana, apples, and orange, with a couple of dates and pakoras. You people have got me thinking about it now.
lol well I am glad you are thinking about peeled and cut bananas.
Excellent job DREB
Excuse me folks, but I am overwhelmed with work and no sleep.
Also my net got all wonky yesterday.
But I am here asleep on the keyboard, typing in my sleep.
